So this happened over the weekend :( the insurance quote $1005.00 to repair, they will cut me a check. I was just wondering if anyone know if that should be enough to replace and paint the rear bumper. If not is there any other solutions? I was thinking about getting the OEM side skirts and kit and have that installed, it might cover up some of the scratches.

Thanks, I'll clean it off today to see what comes off then retake the picture. Had to leave it on for the insurance appraisal.

So after buffering out the scratches, it's not as bad as the first picture. There still is a dent and paint cracks and chip. I'm not sure if the rear panel kit will cover everything.

Looks a LOT better thankfully! I think your idea about getting the skirt will hide the rest up nicely.

Except for the dent of course

this looks like something a dent removal company can fix! give them a call and send pictures, im sure they can give you some advice on what the best way is.

also, mind sharing what process you did to buff out the paint transfer? stuff used? this is something im interested in learning

I just sprayed some WD40 to loosen up the other car's paint, I then wiped it and soapy water than buff out the area with wax. I will have to check around, I was thinking the side fender kit to cover it up. That might be my last resort if it cost a lot to fix the dent.

Ordered the parts and touchup paint cans, gonna attempt to repair it, if it's too expensive. I will check with the bodyshop first to see how much it would cost for them to fix it.
