I was thinking about getting some splash guards for my black Touring. Can anyone comment on the installation of these? Can I put them on myself easily?? Also do they help much?? Thanks!

fairly simple. Just have to unmount the rear tires unless you have one of those tools for screwing into tight spaces. The fronts you just need to turn the wheel to give the room needed.

Easy install, looks nice, helps keep the crap off the car in the winter, rear tires were NOT taken off, no special tools needed to install either.

No but i don't think these cars can be that much different from what's already out on the roads. I put them on my sisters 2014 Elantra in the driveway in 15min.
Nobody who has a 2016 needed special tools, or needed to remove the rear tires as you adivsed.

Alright thanks for the info. Didn't know i was going off prior experiences. Maybe i should just leave the forum since i don't own one yet. My input probably doesnt mean anything.

I have installed genuine rear Splash guards and it was a easy job. I used special tool set to take out the screws and reinstall new rear splash guards with new screws without dismounting the wheels.
Seems to be pretty easy job.

I have noticed that since I have purchased the car, the rear trunk gets dirty (mine is white civic) and even after installing rear splash guards, I don't see any difference. In my 2014 civic, the rear trunk does not get dirty.
I suppose because of it's hatchback kind of design, it gets dirty.
