Also, remember this post where you stated the following?

Chart said:↑
If that us the case, the Canadian sport version will be valued between $30487.82 CAD ($23,365 USD) - $33991.34 CAD ($26,050 USD). I suspect around $31,500 CAD ?

Regardless, that is a large amount to spend on a Honda. I could by a 2014 Mercedes c-class, 2014 BMW 3 series, 2015 A3, 2014 A4, 2013 TT, 2017 Tiguan, 2013 Golf R!!!

These prices cant be right...can they?
Since when the fuck did Honda Canada ever account for the exchange rate properly?

Well ..the sport is going for 29,258.75..add tax (13%)= $33,062.39. I guess my math was right and you were wrong

Well, the official price of the Sport Touring is 35800$ all in (in Quebec with taxes, fees and all). I'll take the Honda all week instead of your A4...C class, 3 series and such...good luck with the maintenance on those! You'll be spending plenty there!

Honda.ca says the Sport starts at $26,960, not sure where you are seeing $29,258.75.

Also, not everyone pays 13% tax.

He's adding $1,595 freight/pdi and the enviro/gvmt fees to inflate the number to make it seem comparable to US pricing which isn't a good comparison. In Canada, there's literally $5000 more than you have to pay on top of the selling price to get your OTD which is absurd, but to say that Honda Canada accounted for the exchange rate properly is a load of nonsense.

For me, anything that is close to the price of a MK7 Golf R, for not anywhere close to the practicality or performance of a Golf R, is not worth purchasing. Seriously, for $40k plus taxes, that thing beats out any entry-level luxury vehicle from any manufacturer. I'd take a Golf R over a 3, C, A4 or anything else any day of the week.

I'd be driving a Golf R right now if it had a moonroof (like it does in Europe). At least they have a semi-good reason for that, unlike Honda's bizarre packaging.

Would be nice to have the Hatchback w/Sunroof here in the US. Can you ship/export one from Quebec to the US?
