Is it ok to wait for some time or should I pull the trigger if I get 3000$ off for EX-T 2016?

Wait till 2018 and pull the trigger on that 2016 EX-T for at least $10,000 off

So if the MSRP is $22,200, and he gets $3000 off MSRP for a selling price of $19,200, he's essentially driving the car for $1100/year in terms of depreciation anyway. On the principle that TTL, Freight/PDI aren't 'part of the car' and get eaten during a new car purchase anyway, it baffles me that he'd even ask that question.

I'm getting a quote for a 2016 EX-T w/sensing from a local dealer. The MSRP is $24,035. And their selling price is $22,304.00 ($1731.00 off MSRP).

I have a down payment of $5000. which means the selling price will be lowered to $17,304. (ex. $22,394-$5000)

When you add all Fees & Sales Tax
DOC FEE = $80.00+ CA TIRE FEE = $8.75+DMV fee= $243.00 = 360.75 Total Fees
SALES TAX @ (8%)=$1790.72

This brings the Total of the 2016 EX-T w/sensing to= $19,455.47

Is this a good deal guys? It's my first time buying a car, and I really wanna make sure I'm getting a good deal especially since its near the end of the year and 2016 Civics w/sensing are running out on dealerships. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you

I think you mean that your balance to pay (and perhaps your financed, or loan, amount) will be $19,455. The selling price (MSRP minus the discount) has nothing to do with your deposit and it remains $22,304. I'll let others comment on your discount, since I'm familiar only with touring prices in NC. Was the $5000 a deposit or a down payment on a signed sale? I gave my dealer $500 to find or order my car, and then I began to shop around.

If you sign up with TrueCar you'll see a graph of both national prices and local prices around your Zip code. Be sure to get offers from several dealers in driving range for the same car (give each dealer your current best price or a few hundred lower and ask them if they can beat it). Finally, tell your dealer you want to give them your business, but they have to match your lowest offer. When other dealers tell you they can't do any better, and you're toward the bottom of the Truecar bar graph, you'll know you have a good deal. (I got a final discount from my dealer about twice that initially offered with this method.)

I can prove it, I have the contracts as proof and I am not looking for attention . I do not appreciate the insults either. Those who insult others without provocation are typically the ones seeking attention
Hey sorry to gravedig this post, but is there any chance you could send me the contract? I'm trying to buy a 2016 touring right now, and I'm getting a quote of $25117 BEFORE taxes.

PenguinMD, if it helps you triangulate, I'm in NC and my Touring (bought 10/14) had a selling price of $24,689 (dest. incl. before accessories, fees, taxes). So discount from MSRP was $2271.

It was 21,000 OTD, tax was only 1k? Which dealership did you get it at and can you scan the quote or invoice with your info removed? Thanks :)

Right sorry, OTD was closer to 22 - 23K (2k tax). And I am not sure I have anything but my contract. But check out Robertson Honda in LA.
