I had something similar happen to me, although I believe it was caused by the excessive heat that day. Perhaps it was just a coincidence it happened when you turned VSA full off. Otherwise, congrats! Youll be bitten by the track bug in no time.

Already did an Autox even this last weekend and already singed up for my net HPDE down here in Homestead Speedway. Consider my self bitten lol. Pads should be here before next event.

Decided to use a fresh set of Yokohama Advan Apex tires I had sitting around and they exceeded my expectations, very happy with them. It was mid to high 60s the entire night, got in 2 solid 20 minute sessions, one of the sessions I hopped in the blue CTR which is FBO, E85 tuned by @kefi , no heat problems all night felt amazing.

I just had to come reread this thread and watch the videos. I've got an event coming up on the 9th (ProAuto Sports) and am feeling like a junkie who needs a his next hit!

No ECT problems for me on pump either. A nice mid 60 degree day will do that for ya! It amazing to go a full 20 minutes without having to pull off.

Buddy caught a decent roller of me going down the straight!

With another track day coming up in a couple weeks, I wasnt sure how I felt about my front brakes so just in case, I ordered G-LOC R10s up front that ill pair with another set of OEM rotors since Im too cheap to splurge for the Paragons at the moment. Also ordered some Moteul RBF600 to replace the ATE. Brakes left just a tad more to be desired, but maybe thats because the blue type R I drove had such a nice setup.

Wish I could have made it to that one but was already short staffed that day. You’ll be at the impulse event?

I have a SCCA Track Night on the 20th here in Atlanta. Already trying to prep my wife for the inevitable money and time cost that will likely come after that...

Swapped to GLOC R10 pads and another set of OEM rotors last night and bedded the R10s in. Much better initial bite over the PMUs can't wait to see how they perform.

The PMU B Forces were good for me but this is how they looked from the few events this summer

Pads were probably at 50% life.

pmu b force pads are not really track pads so I am assuming the gloc pads will destroy them.

I used a set of pmu hc800+ this year and was disappointed with them. They were constantly over heating and smearing on my rotors causing bad vibration. I have picked up a set of pmu 999 pads for next season to try.
