...and what is that "A" button above the suspension setting button?
It looks like the button on the new Pilot Touring that is for engine start/stop.

This looks so boy racer it's not funny.
Over exaggerated front and rear Bar with unnecessary centre exhaust.
Why would you want this car in a manual varient anyway?
Tyre R different story.

Because CVT sucks. Actually all auto transmissions seem to suck. I've never driven one I felt confident in beating up like I can beat up my Honda MT.

Let's not devolve this thread into another cvt vs mt thread, everyone has their preference.
Fair fair. I should have done better to qualify that statement... nobody can argue that a CVT will hold up better than a Honda MT, especially how I plan to abuse it. :)

was there a reason why you didn't wait?
I was bent over on my car payments and when I saw the civic it was love. But after seeing the specs on the civic hatch lx I'm happy with my 10 speakers

I've been saying this from day one. I want to like it but it's just too overdone.

I'm sure it will appeal to the boy racers and the mid life crisis'ers ;) though.

Tasteful it's not.

While I'm sure this car will be popular with the Tuner crowd, but speaking as a mid-life crisis-ee type person, it does not appeal on that level. The Type-R might, but when you can get a Pony car or a Mopar Monster for the same price, you aren't going to be seeing a lot of guys my age lining up for one because it's a dream toy.

It's certainly a cynical design. I'm a mid-lifer, and the overall proportions look great to my eye (much better than the 9th Gen Euro hatch), but with the huge NXS sized fake vents, it looks er.... interesting, a bit like a cartoon car. The traditional muscle cars that are supposed to appeal to my generation are fast loosing their appeal and becoming known as 'Dad cars'. The new Civic hatch could appeal very much as a fun tuner-loon car or a Type-R I think, if the performance can match the overdone sporty looks. The thing that caught my attention with the reviews of the 9th Gen Type-R, was it's great suitability both for comfort as a daily driver and as an open road cruiser, something you couldn't say about earlier Honda hot hatches. If Honda continue to develop their Sport and Type-R Civic with this kind of versatility, I think they will have a winner that will appeal across a wide age group.
