Has anyone installed this part? I'm waaayyy to scared to do it myself but I want it badly. I've heard with stock EXT deck lid spoiler you have to purchase a new trunk lid? Hoping that info is false. If you had it done post pics and if paid for install at dealer explain the pricing.

Thanks

Well it looks good and fuck the haters. What you spend on the spoiler another spends on some ridiculous hobby of their own. Expensive is subjective when it comes to taste.

That being said I dont think i can swing it. I'd rather do wheels and tires for that cost at the moment but might look into it down the road. Really bugs me they shoehorn you into the lip if you buy a turbo. I think they only want wing types on SI and comparable models. Aftermarket may figure something out in a few months.

Thanks for link man!

I really hate the fact that the touring comes with that tiny lip spoiler. I wish it had the option at least to get the wing. It'd really accent the back of the car.

Would the optional decklid spoiler also interfere with those holes? That's quite funny lol.

I had a lip spoiler attached with nothing but 3M that lasted me years; 7 holes seems like overkill

Exactly..especially bc the mini touring decklid doesnt even have a brake light, so no wiring to pass through.

Even larger flushmount decklid uses only 4 holes, 2 on each side "in front" of the taillights, and the rest is just double sided tape all the way across.

I bought a lip spoiler and has the bolt holes. Just gonna ignore those holes and get some 3m tape like on my old jetta.

Touring owners...you're in for a surprise. Honda had fun with this one.
"Let's put holes all across the width of this little lip wing just for fun!"

OMG are you kidding me? They put holes everywhere for this pointless lip spoiler?!? They basically ruined everyone's ability to change/swap wings without a complete overhaul of the trunk (fill in and painting is not cheap).
