What’s up with Lunar Silver?

Seems like they discontinued the Lunar Silver colour for the 2018 hatchbacks (atleast in Canada).

Dealerships seem to be saying that Lunar Silver only came in cvt or Sports Touring editions.

Does anyone know the real deal with this colour (especially in Canada)?

Sales must be bad for that color. I have not seen one in silver. I see mostly black, white and blue.

From Toronto, Canada. Looking to get civic 2018 hatch sport manual. If it hasn’t left the port yet, could I request the Lunar Silver colour? Since the U.S gets it in all models. Looking to purchase today!

Actually, for Canada, in MY2018 the only hatchback trim level available in Lunar Silver is the Sport with CVT/HS, same as in 2017. Just as the Sonic Gray is a Sport Touring exclusive. (I have seen exactly one of each so far, most of them being white or black - I have not seen a Rallye Red Sport Touring yet (Only 2 LXes)- I guess the one I have on order (with 6MT) may very well be the first...)

Silver HB sport here. There was only one sport HB (mine), one SI, and about three coupes/ sedans when I got my car this past July. Every other dealership besides the one I went to had very few lunar silvers on their lot as well. Plenty of the black and blues tho.

I guess us Canadians get shafted in colours and u Americans get shafted with features such as moonroof and apple CarPlay for the sport.

Just saw a 2018 Civic in Lunar Silver Sonic Gray Pearl. I thought it so was awful I had to search the web to see what was up with that color. It reminded me of a Maaco paint job.

When we have our 10thgenclub meets and 25+ turn out majority are White, then Blue, followed by Black and two Reds.

Even on the roads I think I only saw 1-2 Lunar Silver. I can understand why Honda would cancel it.

Forgot about the 3 Green.
