If I purchase things like the illuminated door sill trim, illuminated console kit and ambient lighting kit and then install them myself does that void any of the warranty the car comes with or that I purchased additionally when I was in finance?

These are parts that I would purchase at a Honda dealer like College Hills Honda.

No but the dealer may not warranty the parts themselves if you install them yourself and they say it failed because it was installed incorrectly. Parts from Honda will not void any warranty. Aftermarket parts may.

It really depends on the dealership.

I've personally never had any issues claiming any warranty work.

On 2011 and newer vehicles, accessories bought but not installed by the dealership carry a 12 month warranty from the time of purchase.
