I had been searching the net for a solid answer on the difference between the "Canadian LX" and the "American LX" but all I found were hints.

Here's a video I found that shows the "Canadian LX" with it's 7" touch screen and the upgraded speedo/tac display.

What's the difference between the Canadian LX and the American EX? Seems all Canadian Civic are getting the 7" infotainment system. If takemorepills lived in Canada he would OD :)

The Canadian EX get alloys, sunroof, lanewatch, dual zone climate (EX-T in America for this) and push start on top of the Canadian LX model. We have a DX model that has the 5' inch display, physical tachometer and no A/C for $15990 but no one gets that model.

Canadian vehicles tend to be more well equipped than USDM ones at a particular trim level. The price is usually a touch higher, but factoring the exchange rate, cars are cheap right now.

Canadian LX has these as standard features or in additions to the US LX model features:

- 7" colour TFT centre meter display with Driver Information Interface
- Apple CarPlay™23 / Android Auto™23
- Display Audio System2 with HondaLinkTM23
- 180-watt AM/FM audio system with MP3/Windows Media® Audio playback capability and 8 speakers
- Heated front seats
- Heated power door mirrors
- Multi-angle rearview camera2 (With dynamic guidelines )
- 60/40 split fold-down rear seatback
- HondaLinkTM Assist Automatic Emergency Response System234
- SMS text message23 / E-mail function23

Basically a Canadian LX is more or less a US EX without the followings +/-:

- Honda LaneWatchTM blind spot display2
- Power moonroof with tilt feature
- Proximity key entry system with pushbutton start
- 16" aluminum-alloy wheels

Thanks. The Canadian LX really is a lot more like the American EX. I guess it's partly because in Canada the LX is an upgrade over the DX while in America the LX is the base model.
