Underneath front seats - 2017 hatchback

Hello guys! What are those vacuum looking thing underneath the front seats of the 2017 hatchback?
I just noticed it today as I was looking stuff that might rolled underneath the driver seat.
Are these something like an exhaust?

I'm assuming ducts for providing heat/AC to the rear seat passengers.

Yeah they do kinda look like the vacuum nozzles at DIY carwashes. Definitely the air ducts for rear seat passengers.

Ya 100% air vents for hvac.. Honda has had them there for as far as i remember dont recall on my 93 civic.. But my 89 integra had them

Probably a feature that made its way down from Acuras to the Accord and then to the Civic. My 8th gen Civic (2005) had them.

Cant currently.. But you can just grab the lever.. Pull the passenger seat forward as much as possible then look under the seat.. You will see 2 (ithink) shopvac tip looking nozzles sticking out.. (Car style shopvac tips found at car washes

Delivery is in a month! Right now just living vicariously through civicx while we wait.
