I know I'm early but anyone hear anything about the hatchback being able to do upgrades from type R parts? They are built in same plant, I'm hoping the platform carries over to many parts.

Probably cost prohibitive.

I'm sure Type R owners will be happy. LOL

The only part I want is that Wing.

The wing/hood is probably the easiest since it doesn't have electricals and isn't part of the chassis. Wheels idk if they're 5x120 or 114.3 and if it's the earlier, forget about any suspension/brake mods.

Just stick with eBay rice parts including a fake CTR spoiler, a real one will cost mega bucks, they already make the knockoffs, go nuts. 5X120 pattern on CTR.

I just want the shift knob and maybe the shift boot.

Putting any exterior parts is kinda much imo.

I'm thinking about adding the Type R hood to my Sport. Anyone know if the hood hinges will work? They do have a different part number, but appear to be the same part. I think I can buy just the hood panel and the Scoop Assembly and that's all I need. If anyone knows different please share.

I really want the CTR LED fog lights on my hatch, I think it's unbelievable that they're not offered as an OEM accessory, yet they're available on the Fit lol

Do you know if they will be a direct replacement?

You'll need a mounting tool from what I've researched so it's not a simple swap. Which is strange considering the UK version of the Hatch is available with LED fog lights. I'm interested in seeing where I can order them and have them installed (I don't think I'll be able to do it on my own since I lack the space/tools to install them)

I've heard hood size is same but latch is different so it's not a direct switch.
