Excellent, a possible cheaper CTR is on the horizon. I really hope it comes to USA.
It's already been reported a base model will be an option for 2018. These 18" wheels are NOT related to that. These are for the optional tires with snow chains installed.

Do you have any info on these optional snow tires? Are they steelies? Rim design?

Well. It was also reported that the SI was going to be 2.0T.
I dont believe in rumors until I see hard proof.

Whoooaaa engine oil capacity with filter change is 5.7 quarts , I hope this is just a typo on both GUIDE and MANUAL. All I know is that the 2.0L non-turbo (K20C2) uses 4.4 quarts, I know this because I worked on 1 today at work :D. Did anybody else noticed this?

I'm sure the motor holds more oil because of the turbo setup.

Why would it be a typo?? This 2.0 is nothing like the non-turbo 2.0... well, they are both Honda's

It is most likely correct. The S2000 holds 6 quarts and my 2008 Si takes about 5.5 quarts. Honda's higher performance 4 cylinders hold quite a bit compared to others.

You know what, you guys are certainly right. They have done this to provide extra cooling for the engine and extra lubrication for the turbocharger. Good point

Yep thats correct. My Mazdaspeed 3 uses 6 quarts of oil as well and it's only .3 liter bigger so it sounds about right.

Nothing about breaking in for the FK2R either. So, Honda says just drive to the next oil change at 12k miles or so.
