Every Type-R built is going to be numbered....

Let's see out of us all, who is the luckiest one....! Who is going to get the first or one of the first Type-R's in the US and UK / Rest of the World

Well we do know some people with deliveries coming up soon have had their VIN appear on the Honda system so that's possible. Do we know for sure that you can tell what number will be on the plate from looking at the VIN? That would make sense, but then again so would announcing the MSRP and having the official launch before customers start taking delivery of their cars...
Ok to keep this thread clean and to avoid BS...going forward let's include a photo of the Type-R numbered Plate from the car when the buyer takes delivery.

Please don't update this thread with your entries without the validating Photo.

Thanks All.

you mean like a thread showing everyone your random #? the plate #'s are meaningless as they were with FK2 - they have zero significance other than you get a #.

It is meaningless, but the plate looks nice. I have #1633 Fk2 btw.

So the Plate: R-000001 doesn't refer to the number 1 vehicle produced in the range....first editions are normally more sort after..?
it does not. there has been no corrolation shown between the plate # and actual production.

How do you know your getting number 429 when the vehicles are not even at the dealers yet...?
It's cause I've been given my vin number and if the serial number matches the plate then that's what my number is , if it's not I'll update everyone , people are going to start taking delivery at the end of this month so I'm not sure what honda is waiting on tbh and neither are the sales people at my dealership
