New Video from an email sent today:

Soon!!

(Also for those talking about wheels in the other thread, they specifically mention that they will be the largest on a Civic, whatever size that means.)

Something that caught my ear: "This has to be the world's fastest FWD car on that race track." Alluding to possibility of having beaten the old Type R ring record and not having it announced yet?

Listened to it again and I catch it like that also... they may just not have released the times publicly :)

Would be an awesome debut to have that in their pocket!

Haha, thanks guys!

I also see that it comes with wiper on the rear window. I really hope that they'll remove it. Rear wipers is a pain in the ass and is totally useless.
When do you need a wiper? When it's wet...
Where do all the dirt get on the car, mostly on the rear...
So... what happens to the rear window when using the wiper? You get scratches.

You don't need visual through the rear window, thats why you have side mirrors.

Just my 0,02$... I just hate rear wipers, and it's weight that you don't want to have on a Type-R :headbang:

I noticed that too lol. It is a prototype and I'm not surprised since most prob isn't even actual production grade materials. When you take the odds of it being hand poured plastic molds (it is a diff mirror than standard hatch).... and even more importantly that it being shoved into a shipping container several doze times, I'd be shocked if it isn't 50% duct tape by now lol.

I've seen in several 'up close' videos and walk around where they show and even discuss that most of the vents (including the hood) aren't actually open, just a solid plastic insert, but we know on the production it will be functional. It's clearly a body kit / interior upgrade to a standard hatch chasis.
