I cant seam to find a clear answer on this. Does this car have a Tuner out for it yet? Im on Hondata website and i dont see my car listed. Im not totally sure what the model # of the ecu is on the cvt hatchback. IF anyone knows that would be a help. I dont plan to tune it yet. I want to wait till it has a few 1000 miles on it first so everything can break in but.

Also im only going to do the tune if there is no reliability issues with the cvt. I read cvt's cant handle a lot of extra power. I don't what my car breaking due to a tune...

Look your ecu to find his # and send ecu# by email to hondata they will reply if your ecu is supported, if your ecu is not covered maybe you can do like me, download all the ecu parameter in the flashpro and send data to hondata and normaly 4-5 days later your ecu should be supported with an software update.

There is only one Sport Hatch we do not currently cover. It has ECU part number 37820-5AN-A52. The ECU is beside the battery. You can read the part number without removing the ECU. If your ECU is not covered and you purchased a FlashPro, we could add coverage in about 48 hours.

There are two calibrations you can use - a + 3 psi calibration which gives you similar power to the CRV (190-200 hp)and a + 6 PSI calibration which gives about 215 hp.

This gives you an example of an ECU part number and location on the ECU.

Has anyone dyno tested the CVT Sport where you can use the paddle shifters and hold it in one gear for the test??
Be interested in the results.

Run the highest octane you can. You are looking at about 25 HP and 35 lb-ft torque peak, but more in some parts of the rev range.

Do you think it would be smart to wait till I have like 3 to 5k miles in the car before I tune it? Just so the engine breaks in properly. I only have 700 miles on the car.

@Hondata:

So the pink/purple lines are from a stock (no tune) CVT burning "premium" (91 or higher) octane?
