Ok, thanks. Let us know how it pans out.
Michelin X-Ice3 costs close to $200CAN each, Blizzaks maybe more.
No worries, first day with them in rainy weather was good. We will see when the snow starts falling. I feel like I paid close to $800 for my Blizzaks on the CRV.

I'm looking for this set up for mine. Where'd you get it and how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking
Goodyear Ultra Grip 225/50R17 and whatever generic 17" steel wheels tirerack had.
Paid around $900 with shipping. Came with tires mounted and balanced, labels on each wheel for drivers and passenger side.
Ran calibration and it seems there is a sensor in these wheels so I'm rather shocked on that. Was expecting to drive the whole winter with a constant low tire pressure warning.
Ride doesn't seem too bad, a bit more road noise but now I'm not too worried about snow in the forecast.

Our models have indirect TPMS systems! Relies on ABS/Wheel speed sensor to detect difference in rotation due to the pressure in the tires! Actual sensors are more accurate but I prefer indirect myself!

Sensors? Did you mean in the OE wheels?
Normal for winter tires to generate more road noise. The question is how bad is it.

I also plan to downgrade to 17-inch for winter. Did you look into alloy wheels? I saw some in Tirerack which sells for $125US.

Got my winter wheels and tires on this weekend. They’re amazing. Better ride than the stock all seasons.

18” Enkei with Michelin Alpine PA4s.

Wait so 17" steelies clear the stock calipers? If this is the case I can get a whole set of tires and rims for $400

Nice. I was thinking about going through tire rack myself. I'm glad to hear the setup works perfectly now I can pull the trigger. Thanks for taking time explain

Look good. You are lucky to have these winter wheels. I am still looking for winter alloys!

Hey how's it going is there any way you could let me know what size the steelies and the offset is on those rims because I'm having trouble finding ones that clear our Si size bigger calipers

Did that setup from Tire Rack come with lug nuts, if not where did you purchase those?

It was a complete package, tires mounted and balanced, everything was labeled drivers side/passenger side and lug nuts were included.
I'm still looking around for a center cap that will work with these. Don't want to go with full hubcaps.

Love those rims. I'm looking at a set of 18" Enkei's myself for summer tires and then putting winter tires on the stock rims. Is that the hyper-black color?
