Seems like the driver of the S2000 is very experienced on the track. However I think the tires were kinda mismatched and also not optimal. Still a great run.
s2000 type r lol steering wheel made me laugh. he almost crashed like 10 times trying to keep up.

The CTR had better tires for sure. The s2k was running mismatched tires lol.

CTR driver probably still babying the car doesn't want to push hard. The S2K is just a beater.

Along with some mismatched tires, he also didn't have aero and has less hp. Aero makes a huge difference on a S2000. Would've been nice to see it with the right tires/aero.

I think he did pretty well given the circumstances and he seems to be a very good driver.

One car looks easier to drive and one looks more fun to drive. One also has one of the best NA engines ever made. ;)

Either way, great video and great driving.

S2k will always be so much more than a CTR. Just like a 1st gen NSX. NOT A BEAST BUILT ON A ECONOMY PLATFORM. Love my Civics but not the same.

Before you all start. I've owned a AP1 and AP2. If you want a real sports car drive one of those before an FK8.

Damn. I wanna hit a track one of these days... but just solo so no one sees me mess up :D That looks fun. I can't understand how anyone would enjoy driving on the streets in anything but a manual, but I could definitely see why someone would prefer paddle shifters on a track after watching this video.

On another note, the quick shifting made me drool. In my Si, I feel like by the time my revs come down low enough to upshift, this guy would have already gone through a gear.

Revs in a all motor S2k are much different than our SI's. The whole experience is different but not saying it's less but so different.

I've heard all about it. I saw one sitting for months at my home dealership and kept thinking to sweet talk them into letting me test drive it, but the last time I went it was gone.
