Hi everyone,

I'm looking to replace my stock low beams on my 2017 Civic EX-T with HIDs from here, but I wanted to match the color of the running lights. Does anyone know what color temp the running light is? I've tried searching the interwebz but am unable to find it. Thanks!

No problem at all, I have the 5500K 35W Morimoto HIDs and they suit me quite well.

That's what I was looking to use. How is the distance on those? I've heard on some HIDs the distance may be less than stock.

Lights up the road well. Much better than stock for sure. I have no problems with reading road signs with the HIDs.

Do you use them with the stock projectors? And concerns around blinding other drivers?

Stock projectors as I'm not brave enough for a retro. The cutoff for the lights is about the same as I had with my halogens. When I pull up behind other cars at night I notice my lights don't go above the bumper, so no concerns about blinding other drivers.

Once you put them in, just park about 20 feet away from a wall on level ground and see where they're at. Then you can adjust up or down from there. Also you will be able to see if there is any bleed on them.
