Truthfully I think we will see better suspension than the adaptive suspension... we see electronic controlled suspension on a lot of higher end models that once the owner wants to improve times dropping in some Penskes or Nitrons drastically improve handling without electronics. I'm sure KW is working on something right now for the newest GT racing model of the Type R.

Give me some three way adjustables > adaptive :)

NorthernEX-T, yes I would say those 19"s should fit as long as the new Type R bolt pattern is confirmed as 120x5.

I'm going to keep looking at Acura TL / Honda Performance wheels (19") options, they all seem to be in the 50 range for offset.

What will make turn in feel great is a better compound tire :D drop wheel size. Add better tires for the summer. Feel the grip for days!!!!
I disagree. The first part of the suspension is the tire. Increasing sidewall could have a pretty big impact on the suspension in its entirety.

Outside of that, tread design and sidewall enhance turn in feel.

Take those junker Contis off of that car immediately and put on the PSS or R888R. I've used the ContiSportContact 5 SSR and they felt like dog poop comparable to the PSS, R888, and A048. The turn in feels DEAD comparably. That's with 45 sidewall which is most likely what we will be running if we strip it to 18s. Which we should... Because 20s are garage for tire choices and 19s are expensive comparably.

Comparing the R888 to any of these is ridiculous. Its an R compound tire . It cant be driven in rain AT ALL Not to mention the horrendous road noise and has no business on a civic unless youre at a track day. A 19 inch tire isnt priced that much different to a 20

I didn't say that the tire was a great tire. I said the sizing plays a huge part in the suspension and the sidewall plays a huge part in the turn-in. (Both go hand in hand)

When I buy one, the first thing that will get changed is the tire.
