request: painting rims

i'm planning on buying a used set of rota rims that are gold however would like to repaint them to a darker color like burnt bronze. has anyone tried tint spray paint for lights on rims? any help is appreciated. thanks

You can try and find the color you want with Plasti Dip and go that route. Might need 5-6 coats. Or you can vinyl wrap them.

I plastic-dipped my Work wheels. 4 coats of black and 4 coats of copper metalizer

Do 3 coats if you want a less dark copper color
