Question about electric parking brake

When you use the parking brake does it feel like the car is pushed down?

I usually am in drive, then I pull the switch and hear the Parking brake activate and I feel like the car is pushed down.
Then when I switch to park it feels like the car is pushed back up again.
Just me?

It's the torque of the front wheels reacting against the now stopped rear wheels. Typical.
