Hi I noticed paint peeling from the seam of my 2016 civic ex-t.It only has 800 miles on it and has paint issues. It is 8 months old but not driven much yet and has these issues.I took it to the dealer and they contacted honda and said they would repaint the rear bumper.

Got the car back on friday and I went out today and noticed what looks like a spidercrack developing from the same area so I started looking over the paint really good and noticed some more problems.

These appear as scratches in the paint not just swirls.I have not touched the paint yet and it looks like garbage.

The peeling and the spider cracks are paint defects. had the spider cracks right under my driver headlight. had the bumper repainted.

damn those scratches . looks like someone at the dealer used a very dirty rag, lol

Had this issie around our tailights in our 2 13 accords and now our 16 accord.. Not so on my 17 civic so far... Accords were taken straight to dealer and fixed... One of the 13's again after warranty expired and was still taken care off.. I get taken care of... However even if i wasnt i would have made sure it was either way..

They perfectly go left to right... Someone hit ur car..

These are scratches from the bodyshop. It looks like the scuffed it up or something in the last pic which is the top of the left part of the rear bumper. Those do not appear as spider cracks.
Only the first pic which is on the passenger side by the rear tire,That as where the original problem was.Plus I found alot of trash in the paint.I have a few pics of that too.
Trust me no one hit the car that is all crappy paintwork and prep.
I really regret taking it to the dealer to get it painted.
Should I ask for a new bumper if the paint it again and it looks terrible or I have more issues?
