The same gear ratios as on the 2.0 naturally aspirated engine, despite totally different power curves. 2500+ rpm on the highway is a waste of fuel with the turbo torque. Disappointing.

Parts bin reuse - would assume aside from the exhaust and 1.5T engine tune, there's a whole bunch of similarity with the sedan/coupe. Brake discs, steering rack, tire sizes, etc all seem to be borrowed from the sedan/coupe.

No dynamic guidelines on backup camera for Sport. Nice, Honda. You're really trying to make me buy the Impreza

Why are you surprised? The 5 inch iMid screen never had dynamic guidelines since 2012...

Everyone is shocked about the lack of features on the sport trim? Why? It's literally an LX with extra power, bigger wheels and underbody spoilers. Other than those "sport" additions its still an LX trim level, hence why it slots below the EX trim and not above it.

It looks like the hatch has half an inch more headroom over the sedan in the rear seats, but loses over an inch in legroom.
That makes sense, the roof doesn't slope as dramatically as the sedan, but the overall length is closer to the coupe.

I guess because it really sticks it to those in the US looking for a manual hatch with some features. Now, assuming that the Si will be sedan/coupe only, the only option available for someone wanting a manual Civic hatch with some options is the CTR which is expected to be $35k+ and most likely won't have a sunroof.

Since the Sport Touring can't be had in manual in the US it sucks to see the "sport" model literally just like you said a dressed up LX with a little more power. In order to get a manual hatch with features you'd have to do one of two (expensive) things:

1) Buy an EX or higher, swap the transmission...no telling what that would involve at this point.

2) Buy a LX or Sport, do a bunch of electrical witchcraft to get the HU, TFT gauge cluster and other desired features to work. This still wouldn't even get you a sunroof (if that's your thing).

I never intended to buy a non-Si/CTR but even seeing the lack of some basic features on the Sport upsets me more than it should. :p
