Nurburgring record video top speed GLITCH?

This video brings up an excellent question...
In the Nurburgring video, the speedometer graphic for a split second shows 279km/h (173mph)... was this a glitch because a second later, the graphic shows 260km/h and a slow but steady climb to 265km/h (165mph).

I don't think there's a jump in the track there. If the GPS got blocked by the bridge and it glitched, that would explain it.

Probably the most likely explanation. Still, 165mph is damn impressive.
