There will be 17 Si's on dealer lots in Southern Ontario before the CIAS in February. When I called to extend my lease on my 13 Si which ends in Feb 2017 they advised a 1 month extension would be sufficient if I was leasing the 17 Si.

Honda had a great year last year with the Civic and the CRV. The Si and the R are very small percentages overall.

Midland Ontario dealer..., my Kitchener Ontario dealer told me they'll be on showroom floors by last week in January. IINM they're manufactured in Alliston Ontario so hopefully the longest saga in Honda history is coming to an end.

Is it even possible (serious question here) for dealerships to get the car before its production version is made public? The Nov reveal was that of the prototype, not the production model, however close they may end up being...

To me this sounds like they're just trying to draw potential buyers to them ahead of other dealers.

If that's the case don't they have to call it the 2018 Civic Si? I guess Southern Ontario dealers get it first.

US dealers are getting Pre Allocation on the Type R. Have you seen this at your dealers yet? Just curious to see if the timelines are similar.
