Hi there friends. I currently own a 2017 Civic EX with a 2.0L Engine and I wanted to be able to outspeed my friends Honda Accord 2015 Sports edition. OEM parts alone I know the accord is faster, but I was wondering what I could do to change this. My thoughts are here:

1. KTuner V1 Reflash
2. CAI

Thats really all I have right now. Please feel free to share your thoughts :)

catless downpipe/header? biggest gains would probably be from tune and catless rest of stuff is just little additions with little to barely any power gain

Do you know how much approximately the catless dp would cost? and how much HP it would add?

I'll be straight up with, you're going to have a hard time getting much more out of the 2.0. How close are you now?

I have done nothing to the engine or performance of the car as of yet. We don't plan on racing until next year, but by then I should have a KTuner on my car. Considering her car is also a 2.0 engine, I think it should be alright?

The Accord 4cyl is a 2.4L, not 2.0L.

How much faster is it now?
According to zeroto60times, my civic 0-60 is 8.3 seconds and the accord is 7.5. The civic quarter mile is 16.5 and the accord is 15.7

Seriously? Is the accord engine that much better?
The problem is the 2.0 just doesn't take to simple mods well. That being said, if money is not an issue you may have a chance.

I'm thinking shouldn't the KTuner be enough to beat the Accord? Considering zeroto60 said the accord time is 7.5 and someone on the forums with a 2.0 KTuner civic's 0-60 time was 6.08?

Where did you see 6.08 on a Ktuner 2.0?
