Is it a thick rubber, or a stiff plastic tray?

It pretty much looks similar to the cargo tray in my EX-L sedan (except for the Type R logo of course lol). It's a somewhat stiff but flexible plastic. It's really nice and functional.

Still out of town, but my Parts Dept sent me these pics. Said it's the nicest cargo tray he's ever seen from Honda. Group buy coming soon.

Just wanted to point out something to people getting this cargo tray. Mine did not fit flush on the right side when it was installed. That little flap on the right was kinda bending up touching the bottom of the sub-woofer trim. I don't have any idea why they have that extra flap, but once you take a razor blade to it and cut it off cleanly it fits perfectly flush after.

This is the same issue with the Sport and Sport Touring. Perhaps the base Type R won't have a sub so they planned for the cargo tray to fit both trims.
