    IMG_6128.JPG IMG_6131.JPG FullSizeRender.jpg Hello,

First time Honda owner here. I am coming from a 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe with Sport Package. The Infiniti was totaled in an accident and I did not have a lot of time to shop for a new car. I saw a commercial for the civic hatchback and I thought it looked great. Knowing Honda's reputation for reliability and resale value, I decided this was the best car that suited to my needs within my budget. Needless to say, the Honda is very different but I am really enjoying it! I've always loved "sporty" hatchback and wagons. Unfortunately I could not wait for the Sport Touring to hit dealers, and I also couldn't find any 6MT vehicles in my area. Being on a short time line I purchased a CVT equipped sport. I know the CVT's can't hold nearly as much power as the 6MT, but I probably won't do many power mods as this is a FWD vehicle with no LSD. I'll mostly be focusing on wheels, suspension and appearance modifications. I'm excited to see what parts become available for the FK7 hatchback and L15B7 motor. If you know of any good sites offering parts for the FK7 hatch, please share them!

The sport looks great in polished metal. My accord was that color and I wanted a change, so I opted for white orchard pearl. Also, got the cvt... had it for 6 weeks so far, and I really like it. I've already swaped out the headunit for a Kenwood, and just got the windows tinted. IMG_20170107_110719_006.jpg

Not too sure why I thought this colour was only available in Canada. It looks very good man. I think this colour works the best with the rear faux vents. This is a top 3 colour

Nice color, by the way, what percentage is your tint? I am thinking of 35 or 30%, the tint looks good as well and your kenwood head unit!

There's a tint thread in this forum that many members post details, but I did 35% on the sides, and 20% on the hatch.

Polished Metal - - NICE! I'm usually into the lighter colours, like silver or white, but this colour has me convinced to get it when it comes to Australia..

Nice pics. Agreed this is one of the best colors for the hatch and I may end up with the same. Thanks for sharing

The CVT has a learning curve i.e., clutch. Once learned, CVT has more benefits than detriments. The 1.5t is a dream compared the the 1.8l especially coupled to the CVT (owned both before the '16 touring). The folks who complain about the CVT should have purchased something like the WRT. That said, there're few Mazdas et al with 250k low maintenance miles. Cool color (blk/blk here).
