Low on brake fluid warning

So I came to a pretty fast stop this morning and my car threw up an in dash alarm that said "low on brake fluid" which immiedietly went away as soon as I let off the brake. So of course I drove on and hit the brakes hard intentionally and low and behold it made an alarm sound and the dash flashed the same message again. Has anyone else seen this? I am not hitting the brakes so hard that the cars ABS kicks in but seriously I wonder if the car is low on brake fluid or it's a malfunctioning sensor.

you can check the level. If it is low add the fluid. If its not low, then the dealer may need to run brake diagnostics
