You do realize that this is a purpose built touring car, right? There is a massive difference between a road-going Type-R and this car. What is done on this car is even more purpose driven and focused than it is on the road car.

Subjective opinions aside (because I think that the car looks fantastic), the body kit is there to allow them to fit the wheel and tire size they want.

Race cars usually have terrible fitment, body gaps, you name it - but this car looks great.

Because Hondas look horrible, no need for them, ruins the look of the car
