They show a 25hp/35tq increase for the CVT, is that WHP or crank HP?

With my manual hatch, i dynoed stock vs 6psi basemap and the gain was about 25whp and 30wtq and with custom tune 35whp and 40wtq so i think what they advertise is to wheel.

Yours was dynoed at the wheels with a gain of 25whp. So the increase of crank hp would be the same, 25hp.

UM, no........drivetrain loss, engine/crank HP will ALWAYS be more than WHP.........
Off course.
What I've ment that his starting numbers on the dyno were already measured at the wheels. So if he started at let's say 160whp and gained 25whp, that he also gained as much power at the crank eg. 180hp to 205hp. Drivetrain loss doesn't increase or reduce when you don't change any hardware.

While you are correct that drivetrain losses don't change, you still have to account for them when changing back to crank HP. For example, say you gain 25hp at the wheels and have 10% powertrain loss. Your crank HP would increase 27.5hp not 25hp.
