Hi everyone,
I am seeking assistance on which color Honda Civic EX-L to purchase. This is my first car! Please help.
I have badgered my family and friends on their opinion on the colors that are offered and this is what I have so far:

White Orchid Pearl - Personally love this color and I'm looking for a nice sleek car, but from what I've been told, it gets dirty really easily and will fade over time similarly to how a nice white T-shirt fades to a yellowish color.
Aegean Blue Metallic - Blue is my favorite color! I'm not sure if it fits into the sleek/sophisticated look that I'm looking for. My brother actually has a blue 2014 Civic EX and has advised me not to get it because scratches show up on it really easily.
Burgundy Night Pearl - Not really a fan, unless someone can post a picture of one and wows me with it.
Cosmic Blue Metallic - (See comment on Burgundy Night Pearl)
Crystal Black Pearl - Does look sleek, but le parents advise me that it would be more dangerous to drive at night with since it's more difficult to see (??)
Lunar Silver Metallic - Not really a fan, since the front bar blends in with the car.
Modern Steel Metallic - Not sure?
Rallye Red - Would love the car if it was a more dimensional red color (and if I wouldn't be more likely to be pulled over by police for fooling around in it)

Please advise. I am legitimately losing sleep over this.

Thank you in advance <3

I'd go EGP. ALL the colors are good honestly. Pick which one you can see yourself liking more. Close your eyes, think about colors, and the first one that pops to mind is probably the best choice. Namaste.

I think you should get what YOU like, take the opinions of others with a grain of salt. All cars get dirty, all paint scratches, cops pull over everyone etc. Learn how to properly maintain the exterior of your vehicle and go for it. Good luck.

I am personally a fan of Aegean BLue Metallic (Royal blue is always a nice car color) Modern Steel Metallic and Lunar Silver Metallic. Yes the blue will show scratches easier but I think the Black color is the worst offender in that regard. Modern steel metallic (Dark Grey/Grey) is never a bad choice for me on a vehicle they always look good in most cases. My 16 which I am picking up on Tuesday is Lunar Silver metallic I really liked how that color looked on the coupe models. My best advise is too look in person see which color you like better and go with it. The car after all will be yours so just enjoy the color you like because everyone else is going to have different opinions but only yours matters when its your car.
As far as having issues seeing a black car at night, that should only be an issue if you do not have your lights on. I have had black vehicles before and never had an issue.

White oyster pearl actually doesn't get dirty easily, and I've never heard of a white car fading over time. A majority of the Civic ads here show the car in white. And white does a good job of hiding scratches and dents. Sooooo ... I guess I'm saying white. :)

I love the white. Metallic—subtle but makes it look custom or premium. Has almost a matte look in some lighting conditions which is subliminally intriguing IMO.

Also, the lines and black details (vents, etc.) really pop on the white. Gives it a really clean but sporty look. Athletic.

Also, white being a neutral color, it kinda goes with anything.

Also white is more visible at night

Just my two cents.

Just don't be a fool who never waxes their car, then years down the road the clear coat gives out and starts going crusty white. Then they go, gee, what is that? Clueless.

And before waxing, surface should be prepped as in clay barring to remove the bonded contaminants or else they will end up getting waxed and rubbed into the finish.
My .02

Also, washing removes some wax for sure, so, makes sense mist on and wipe in some spray wax when drying the car. Spray wax makes it look so shiny.

I think with color, just get the one that pleases you the most.

Don't forget you are choosing interior color too. If you don't like tan or light gray, some exteriors only come in that interior.

Those light tans and gray leather will show dirt much more easily. Have your Lexol leather cleaner then conditioner on hand which works well.

On another note, is adaptive cruise control important to you? For me, regular cruise control is nearly useless on a daily basis, but I might be able to use the heck out of Adaptive Cruise Control, as in sensing. But then you're probably talking Touring cause most EX-Ls come with nav and not sensing.

That doesn't always happen though. I had a Ford Escort from new, never waxed it, didn't even wash it that much, and the paint looked awesome 12 years later when I traded it.

Is it bad if I have no idea what half of your post even meant? Lol. Googling some of these things. I'm trying to decide between the EX-L w/sensing and the Touring. I'm not sure whether the extra money for the Touring is worth it for me because I'm paying out the butt for school and insurance and such as well. The first color that stuck out to me was actually the blue. But I'm trying to grow up and start adulting and such and I feel that the blue color gives off the wrong vibe in the professional setting. It was a really close choice between the blue and the white because the white looks so pretty. I'm just afraid that I won't be able to keep it clean and it won't look as pretty a few years down the road. I'm being advised to purchase the metallic steel, but I don't think it looks as nice as the white or the blue, and I'm reluctant to get it. But I keep getting pushed toward this color. I'm not sure if it's me being young and stupid for not realizing that it's the most practical option like everyone is telling me on my end, but I really would rather have the white or the blue.

PS. I am from a large metropolitan area. Not sure how well the adaptive cruise control would work in serious stop and go traffic?

Honestly, it's hard to go wrong with any color. Granted, it's all a matter of opinion, but this Civic looks premium and stands out in pretty much every color.

I'm partial to the Burgundy Night Pearl, but I own one so, yeah. If it's cloudy or at night, it looks purely black, except under close scrutiny in the right lighting. When the sun hits it thought, it's got a deep, rich dark purple metallic flake that makes it unique. It's got like a colorshift effect to it.

The Aegean Blue would be my next favorite. That color really pops, it's a shame I haven't seen one on the road yet. I wouldn't be concerned that it looks "unprofessional", only way you can do that is by throwing a bunch of trashy stickers on it lol.

Adaptive Cruise Control will drive you nuts in city and stop and go traffic. It needs more refinement in that type of driving environment, it's much better suited to highway driving.

I love the Agean blue. It really does pop and up close the metallic pain looks incredible. I like all the colors and since blue is my favorite color the choice was easy

My opinion is WOP on black. Its sexy as hell. To me and once again this is my opinion the agean blue is too boy racer for me... Everyone likes different things if not the world would be a really boring place...

I was going to get Ralleye Red..... until I saw Aegean Blue. Aegean Blue is an amazing paint. Super metallic and expensive looking.

Yep, never once waxed my 06 accord coupe...paint still looked great!

Also, I loved the rally red, then I saw cosmic blue, so I got that!
