For those of you with the hatchback and 18" wheels, particularly in parts of Canada like Edmonton or Winnipeg, how does it perform in the winter? I've driven a Civic Coupe with 16" wheels for almost a decade through harsh winters with no problem, so am wondering to hear how the hatchback will do. Thanks!

Did you use winter tires on your old Civic?

You'll be fine. If you're that worried then get a smaller set of wheels.

I took delivery of my Hatchback Sport in February and put snow tires on it the next day. The combination of a light car and 235 wide tires seemed like trouble. I went with 215 17" snow tires and they worked very well.

There's another thread saying they perform well.

Not sure if it's my driving and/or the tires used on the Sport Touring but I wasn't a fan and this was just light snow. The next (last) light snow GTA got a week or two ago I left her home and took my Murano.

Yes, I love my Blizzak I have the DM-V2. I just didn't get them for my Hatchback because of late delivery, February 16th. Next year.
