Trying to see if there was interest in group buy going for a 3" Stainless Steel Exhaust system by Stromung. They are willing to make them for us Sport/Touring/SI peeps if we get enough for a group buy.The more we have, the cheaper the price is. Here are Mock Ups of what the tips look like. This is a 3", 3 piece exhaust system. Hope there is some interest so we can have these made.
I ll get the prototype made and post up sound clips.

Would have to hear how the sport sounds on a cold start up, idle, from in the car, etc. to start to consider, especially with Won27 and borla already coming out with them.

Yeah I wouldn’t expect a group buy without some clips from the prototype exhaust.

And also any gains as well.

Stromung is pretty well known in the nissan community for the quality stuff. Always wanted one for my B15 Sentra.

A catback exhaust will not net any gains. This mod is purely for a better sound. If there is any gain, it’s so little you wouldn’t know the difference.

I'm pretty sure there will be some gains compared to a very restrictive stock exhaust. On a boosted car will be definitely more gains than an NA car. In any rate, once I have the exhaust made, I'll post up.

Yeah man..im slowly reconnecting with all the companies I used to work with back when I was highly active in the compact car community.

Yeah I had one of the first systems on my B13. Scott will work with us once we get this going for a group buy.

It’s already been confirmed that it doesn’t. The stock exhaust is not restrictive.

You should do testing for us. Prove the product worthy. Do two data logs, one stock, 3 or 4th gear pull, then install the catback and do the same thing. Validate it. Cause I don’t see how you could expect anyone on this forum to blindly buy this exhaust. It should be that way for any after market parts. Everything should be validated before it’s allowed to be sold legally. Cause I’ve seen way to many fraud products, and sadly some people waste their money cause they get sucked into lies the beholder of the product said/promised.

First off, not trying to prove gains or trying to market this brand. I'm suggesting a group buy if anyone wanted a break on a unit. If they don't that's fine with me. Just trying to share the love. Secondly, if I do get my car dynoed, it would be what who it makes, not for comparison reasons. Been there, and frankly, I don't have $$ laying around to test a bunch of pulls. It's all good. I'll leave this here if anyone is interested in a unit then cool. Otherwise, I'll post up the progress as I get it made. As far as proving a product worthy...um..really? Stromung still around since the 90's. What is there to prove? Lol. Anyway, thanks for following this post. Glad there is some interest.

I believe the prl downpipe/front pipe combo is 3inches with an adapter to let it fit the stock system. Would be cool to bypass the adapter and have a full 3 inches all the way through

It was said there were gains to be had. I read that clear as day so I would like to see proof of gains. And it doesn’t matter if they been out since the 90s. Each individual product should be tested to insure it does as promised. I’m not bashing the company. I’m just stating that it’s been confirmed already that a catback won’t net anything, because it’s a small motor and small turbo. If those factors were different, then I’d agree with you.
