Try it, especially those with a manual. :)

It's a low rev limit you set at your desired rpm for launching. Works the same way as it would if you put an auto in neutral and try to rev it. Once you hit the limit, the rpm drops down to the reset, then back up to the limit. You can WOT, then launch, and be at max boost fairy quickly. Not sure how, or if this works with a CVT.

Here's an example for those wondering how it works. Seems like there isnt much of a gap between the limit and the reset on his setup though, which is why the rev sound repeats so fast.

Where did you find the 2step setup in ktuner? I've been looking all over and can't find it.

Hit the + on Main Parameters I believe. You have to open a new tune. I know it's in stage 2, and starter map 21, haven't tried stage 1 though.

Can anyone confirm if this is safe to do on a CVT?

I've got mine set about 500rpm more, Pur3MotioN770. I was getting a lot of lag down at 2500rpm or below settings and too much wheel spin any higher.
Good thing is that you can adjust it on the fly for current conditions.

Clutch in, floor the throttle, let the clutch out, keep throttle down and start shifting (NLS). Really cool to keep the throttle down during acceleration runs.

No it is not advised whatsoever.
I doubt ktuner even has this available for the cvt tune. Just trying to get better throttle response off the line!

I've now found much more success in launching around 2900 with about 40-45% throttle, with boost climbing to 1.5 to 2.0 PSI, before taking off. Dragy GPS has allowed me to see the effects of these changes, measuring 60 ft times.
