Didn't mean to come across hostile; I've been studying statics and electrical physics all day, so I'm a tad frustrated with my state of being. I do see where you're coming from though. Marketing is a ridiculous thing, but I do have faith in Honda as a company and have always been blown away with how genuinely fun and special their cars feel compared to competition. This Si is no exception. I'm super interested in the HFP package, and can't wait to get more details. The second I'm out of engineering school, a refreshed Si will be mine!

No worries. Wasn't taken as hostile. I'm blown away at how Honda built this car so cheaply too! I have owned 45 cars over past 35 years and this is one of my favorites. Reminds me of my 87 CRX Si that I bought when I was out of college, but way more sophisticated and practical.

$300 per wheel and then you'd need to get new tires as well. Seems a bit much.

On my 08 Si I got the HFP Suspension, it lowered it about .5-1in. Hoping they do that with the new HFP Suspension.

aftermarket FTW in my book. Weighing the cost of all this and the physical weights (geez) of these I myself prefer the aftermarket realm. But to each their own. I would love 19" versions of my Enkei's but MN roads absolutely terrible and I think its only a matter of time before one gets bent or damaged.

33 lbs for a 19" rim if FAR too much. The 19" Enkei weigh around 19-20lbs. That's a big difference.

Hfp wheels typically arent what id consider a great value, given the higher price and weight of wheel. I would just opt for another enkei wheel instead.

With HFP, glad things are starting to move along. Nothing they have interest me now, but it is my hope that 2018 will bring some options.
