I have a K&N drop in filter in my Sport Hatch. Got the flashpro and I am about to flash. I'm a total tuning noob so I was wondering if the base 6 psi flash is fine or if there is anything to consider with the supposed additional air flow gained from the K&N. Everything else is stock. Also, after flashing is it best to go with the 93 octane or is 87 fine?

The 6psi base tune should be fine. I'd highly recommend using good fuel if you're going to to up the boost. Personally I wouldn't run 87 on the stock tune, though it may or may not be dangerous.

87 octane is fine on any of the base tunes. Knock control will adjust to it but if you want the most power then it would be best to run the highest grade

I feel like there is a bit more throttle response now, but it could be my imagination. I'm still back to the factory flash as of now also. I'll probably put the 6pst base back on this weekend

It honestly feels a bit more responsive to me now, but maybe its all in my head. Nothing dramatic.
