This is the 2018 Honda Civic Si sedan, caught while out on a test drive in Urban Meyer's back yard.

The Civic Si coupe was introduced in November at the LA Auto Show, but the production version has yet to be unveiled. Based on these photos, the Si sedan will look very close to the concept when it hits showrooms.

The Civic Si will get a higher-performance version of the 1.5-liter turbo four offered in other Civics, limited slip differential, adaptive steering and suspension and be manual transmission only.

The Si will be available in coupe and sedan models when it goes on sale later this year. Expect a production version to be shown at the New York auto show.

I had a feeling it would have the RS Spoiler! I was hoping for a pedestal one. Looks quite plain but I hope it will be released standard with the Sport/Sport Touring aero package. Definitely will help increase the badass factor coz as it stands it's a little too plain IMO.

I still can't get over how big the Civic is this generation. They should have made the Si a hatchback as well - just embrace it's size by offering utility and streamlining the bumper production instead of this weird criss cross (because it's obvious it took after the Hatchback bumpers now)

I notice it has the concept-like exhaust!

weird how they went with the rear hatch bumper when the coupe didn't have it. I like it better without the rear vents. but I'm sure, like the hatch, it'll grow on me.

Now I know what the S/ST rims looks like on a sedan. No LED headlights?

I'm reeaaally hoping they have an option for the LED headlamps.

I think they have just teased everyone to death with this car. Shame on Honda.

And yes, why not just get rid of the chrome window trims like the hatch?

Yes, but it looks like it doesn't have the diffuser installed, which is odd.

So all they did was put on the hatch style front and rear bumper, hatch style rims, and a hideous spoiler?
    :dunno:
Apparently I could *visually* convert my LX to an Si for a mere $1,000 or less lol.
(Not including rims, because those rims are so embarrassingly boring for an Si)
