Hey hey hey maybe I just like how the tires are held on. Lol. Sorry I haven't had aftermarket *wheels* since back in 2005ish when F&F was still a thing and people called them rims.
Thanks for the corrections so I don't look dumb again lol.

As for the bolt pattern, valid point. Completely overlooked that. Telling by the stock performance stats though, I wouldn't be surprised if the hub assembly, suspension, etc were all specific to only the type-r.

Anyone else feel like these are 19s?
I'd almost say definitely. Hard to distinguish perfectly with the black wheel, but there really seems to be a lot of sidewall...and they don't look like downsized winter tread.

Nor sure if this helps, but here's a side by side comparison.

19" makes sense given the mission of the car. I assumed all along that the 20s were just for the show car. We'll see soon enough, but it sure is annoying that with all the spy shots that nobody ever sees this thing sitting and can take a photo of the tires to end this debate! :)

It's not a true Type-R unless you have to steal the entire hub assembly and/or suspension pieces just to fit Type-R wheels on a regular Civic.
Don't give anyone any ideas, please.

I 100% guarantee a 20" wheel will be standard.

Care to elaborate why you're so confident about this without revealing any names?

I just can't get past that spoiler. I know it's almost tradition at this point on a type-r to be a shopping cart, but they should've lowered it at least a little IMO.

No, I don't care to elaborate. I'm just a random person on the internet. If you wish to not take my word, thats up to you. But I'll tell you that I am 100% confident that the tire on the prototype will be standard equipment on the R.

I love it. I like it loud though, so I'm a bit of an outlier.
