Honda Canada invited us S2000 and NSX owners to the Alliston plant for a tour of the factory. was an incredible day. topped off by getting to play around with this guy..

Sweet, I'm sure it was a good time! Were there two pics or just one, only one link worked?

Either way - that's a stick I'd love to handle. ...The...the shift knob, I mean.

the shifter was short tight and precise. kind of felt like my S2000. I compared it to an LX manual which felt quishy.

I actually noticed that number in a review video also. Forget which it was. Maybe the Type-R vs RS vid.

Number 00000 is used in all those demo cars for journalists test drives etc.

Might also explain the difference in the VIN# and badge#, we've been seeing. Every so often one VIN gets a generic 00000 badge and gets slated as a company demo or special unit like the ONE REPUBLIC unit. There could end up being 80-90 of these over the course of the production run (hopefully not included in the total units coming to our shores) They could also be rebadged (or not!?) and sold as special corporate demo with [full:)] disclosure as to track use, etc. Just speculation, I know, but I'm thinkin' outside the box here.

[EDIT: just saw other posts to this effect, sorry I'm slow on the uptake]

Many if not all these "demos" will be crushed once they are done with. Sad, so sad!
