Civic Si OTD price thread

OK now that the Civic Si is at the dealers for ordering let's try and get some info on what you paid out the door price. When you do post up please include the following.

1) Model of Si and color .. Sedan or Coupe
2) Base price ..MSRP or +~-
3) Options added to the car with prices
4) Taxes to include what state you purchased the car from
5) Destination and Dealer fee's if you paid for them
6) Dealer that you purchased the car from to include the State
7) Final price OTD

This way we can help others and show a trend of what we have been able to purchase the car for

8) Payment type such as cash, bring-your-own financing, or financing through the dealer since dealers receive incentives from lenders which can offset the selling price.

I would also request that only people purchasing without a trade-in respond - this is the only way the out-the-door price is somewhat meaningful. A trade-in muddies the waters. A dealer knows more about what the trade is actually worth than what you think it is worth and there is no guarantee how much the trade will end up selling for, which will affect the rolling profit.

It would also be nice to see a photo or scan of the paperwork since people are sometimes known to lie - believe it or not.

Do we need a SI dealer naughty list like the type R thread? I really dont see how there could be ADM on the si, but the dealer here is trying to sell them at $27900 for the models without summer tires.

I vote in favor of an "Si Dealer Naughty List" thread.

The Honda dealer in Longview, Texas adds about $3,500 to the MSRP of every new Honda on their lot from a Fit LX to an Odyssey Touring Elite and everything in between. It includes things like window tint, tire nitrogen, pin striping, "protection package" and "maintenance package". You won't see these markups on their website, but you'll see a standard disclaimer at the bottom of the website that says the prices shows on the website may not be correct.

My dealer just called and quoted a price of $24,775 but not including tax and licensing. So I assume he wouldn't try to sell for above that.

Hopefully you responded with a long winded "haha". That's ridiculous. It's upsetting how Honda has treated the release of the Si and Type R...and then allows dealers to do this. Ridiculous.
