I really like the flatter torque curve and linear power he was able to produce in the mid/high rpm range. This is the tune I'd want:

Not exciting to see clutch slip on even stock power numbers...here's to hoping that he's right and it might get better with time...

BUT...I think this answers A LOT of questions regarding that 10th Si vs previous models...and shows that this little 1.5 was not such a terrible decision after all...

Thanks for pointing that out. Some of us don't peruse the tuning forum and would have missed it.
Yeah I mainly use the "New Posts" button up top to view all new posts.

Just to get this right.. The stock clutch was slipping?
Yes, but he's not sure if that's just due to it being literally brand new and not broken in yet, or if it will be a persistent problem.

I understand it as the stock clutch is slipping with the tune, not stock power.

EDIT: Re-read definitely mentions slipping clutch on stock tune with 91 oct.

Then you didn't read the blog post correctly, stock on 93 octane it slipped at the higher ramp rate from his dyno:

"The graph on the right shows what the Si makes on premium grade fuel (Si is solid again) vs our base EX-T. I noted no slip at this ramp rate, so I put the dyno back to the original speed and did another pull — and of course with the boost coming in sooner the car made more torque, and we hit some clutch slip (as you can see — chart on the left). So looks like on 92-93 octane we will see anywhere from 200-206whp and 210-220wtq (depending on your luck with the clutch)."
