Hello Type R community, Graham Rahal Performance has given me the green light to share some info on the development of aftermarket performance goodies for the FK8 type R!!
They are currently working on 3D scanning all the OEM parts for the air intake, and have started development on a turbo back exhaust! I've also inquired about a possible Titanium cat back if anyone in the community is interested! if the demand is there they will be on board!
As some of you know Graham Rahal is an indy car driver and races on a honda engine. Their team seems very excited and motivated to explore the new Civic Type R. Opinions are welcome and hopefully with enough community input we can see lots of aftermarket performance and race performance goods from GRP!!
There is also a potential for real carbon fiber aero parts, permitting enthusiasts within the community desire to replace the faux plastic parts!
(Currently No Pricing has been released. For more details you can contact directly at http://grahamrahalperformance.com)
