It's probably done like this 3:12.

Nobody drives their own car like this right?

Kicking the clutch adds JDM horsepower in Hondas like kicking a horse to go faster.:slap:

even though short final gearing has the engine turning 3500 rpm at 75 mph in top gear.
I'm at ~3000 rpm at 75 mph. I'm assuming they made a typo... or maybe didn't realize it has a 6th gear?

Its about what I expected at 3100lbs and nearly 300whp. It will sure be faster in the straight line than a RS, STI and R stock for stock.. I'd be happy with about 112mph trap. I think a turboback and a tune should be more than enough. Question is what kind of turbo does this engine have and does it have anymore room to push the air needed.
I think you can just look at the FK2 CTR for reference.

This video is a FK2 R with a tune, downpipe, intercooler, DV, and exhaust making 400hp:

With the American market now being involved, plus future Honda's/Acura's using the 2.0T, I'd imagine there will be more aftermarket products available for those wanting even more power.

I'd be disappointed if it couldn't run at least mid 13's.

S2k were running mid to high 13's with a puny 240 hp.

Hmmm, I have never seen any stock S2k's running 13's to be honest. I think the best I've seen is 14.2@99mph from Car and Driver. That's plenty quick, but that trap speed is way slower. The CTR is nearly as fast as a C43 AMG. I have a slightly modded s2k myself and during my last track day, when a C43 AMG tried to let me pass (he put on the signal and waved at me to let me pass), I couldn't. He just pulled away from me, hard. lol.

I remember going to the strip and S2k's couldn't break 15's. I don't know about ap2 but ap1 really needed that abusive clutch drop. You're either bogging bad or spinning.

Haha yea, launching a car with a high revving engine that makes most of its power in the top end is tricky. You really have to feather the clutch really well to keep the engine rpm high enough without bogging down, while keeping wheelspin at just the right amount (not too much, not too little). That's why muscle cars traditionally have so much low end torque. You don't have to worry about bogging down, and all you need to do is gradually step on the gas pedal to control the wheelspin.

Just looked on C/D, they managed 14.0s@100mph in a AP2 before. You gotta be really good to beat that at a drag stripe.

The dude in this vid does a lot of car reviews in China.

He seems to have quite a bit of automotive engineering knowledge and can do all the basic stuff like heel & toe, clutchless shifting.
