Just wanted to show you guys how weak and flimsy the stock BPV is. Made from rubber and plastic. Sure the exterior is metal, but get a look at the inside!

Yeah I can't wait for prl to come out with their intercooler and IC pipping. Then hopefully turbo smart or someone good makes a nice recirculating bypass valve. And a down pipe. That's the majority of the bolt ons that one with need for gains and keeping a cooler intake temperatures. I feel like the intake isn't going to be that great for power on this platform.

Intake won't do shit until someone figures out a way to replace that pancake turbo inlet.

just out of my curiosity has anyone try blocking the stock blow off valve to create that "brr stu stu stu" or most people call it a compression surge sound ?

It's not a good sound. Compressor surge kills turbos.

Here's a picture of the boomba racing BOV installed. I was fortunate enough to have one installed for testing, I will make a review video as soon as I have a few hundred miles on it. I will say the staff I've dealt with so far has been great, friendly and very professional. One of the better experiencesI've had dealing with a performance shop.

Honestly as part of being a "test" car they installed it. maybe they can chime in

Installation of this part is pretty simple. The average DIYer should be able to install this in an hour or less.

Is there two O rings that comes with the eBay BOV? Looks like a thicker one and thin one, not sure which one to use. Also did you bolt down the adapter first then put on the BOV? It's hard to put on C-clip after the adapter is installed no room.

Both o rings are used, c clamp goes on before mounting on car. It's a tight squeeze to get the bolts in after its mounted but possible.
