Okay, you folks need to establish whether the cover for the gas pedal is actually just a cover or the whole gas pedal assembly. If it is just a cover, it won't fit

I confirmed they are covers. Why won't it fit? Installs with rivets no different than the Fit pedals. I used covers on my 14 Civic too. 4 rivets. Do you know more on this? Thanks.

Lol...it is expensive..you can ask for discount shipping. No different than OEM exhaust tips. I bought my Si exhaust tip for my 14 for about the same. Nothing like the OEM fit and look. Unless you change exhaust or have a great fitting aftermarket tip that won't give trouble later or constant maintenance.

The cover that weve seen on the Civic RS and the asian models is clearly too "narrow" for our gas pedals. They install with rivets but what makes you think that thr civer actually wraps snug around the original pedal?

In proportion to the brake pedal, you can see that the gas pedal on USDM models is "wider" than the accessory cover.

Now, do the mod for sure I can't stop you but try at own risk

The Honda Fit pedal covers didn't wrap around either. They sat on top and held on with the rivets. Did you watch the video? Are you basing your theory on pictures or actual info? Interesting though to see if your theory is correct.

Whereas on the Civic. The brake cover looks fine. The gas pedal cover is gonna be too narrow, and youll have the rubber sides stick out like a sore thumb while the length of the pedal looks correct.

Curious if you have seen the actual product and tested on the NA CivicX? You seem very ademate and very sure with your info. What is your source?

I really want oem exhaust tips that dont touch the bumper like my autozone cheapies but I cant pay that much. Hoping we get some competition soon.
