I turned this in and while I think it visually looks more "new" I can't quite seem to realize if I like it more than the traditional factory skin .

I'm gonna have to play around with it some more

I used it for maybe one day then switched back to the default. I wish we had the ability to install custom APKs because then I'd install Nova launcher and KLWP and customize it to my liking.

It seems like once a day I think about switching, then when I do, I immediately switch back to the default.

I run the alternate skin. It's just easier for me to access the various information faster, without having to go through so many screens to do it.

Any recommendations on best configuration? I realize it's subjective, but I'd be interested in seeing how others are doing it.

Me! I do! I like it a lot more than the default skin. I'm still fiddling with placement a bit but I pretty much have it how I want it. I'll post a pic during my break

Default works for me, however I wish it was way more responsive - like scrolling through my music collection (USB drive) is not very effective...

Totally agree! But it seems like the Android skin might provide easier access to things?

really? nice I will change it over and try things out. If its more responsive or easier to navigate its certainly worth doing!

Objectively, I think it's easier to navigate, but not sure if it's more responsive. Subjectively, I think it looks nicer, especially if you change the wallpaper.

I have only used the default. I changed the skin just to say I did, but never really gave it a shot. Just because this is a discussion topic, I think I will switch it over just to see what it's like.

Wish they'd upgrade from the Android from freaking 2011/2012. Even if they didn't touch hardware much, for the most part, more modern Android is a bit more stable/smoother I've found! Even android 5/6+ would of been great!

Agreed. Lol. Yet I find this skin nicer than the default.

This is was my last setup, but I already changed it. IMO, it's easier to access sub-menus with this skin and it looks nicer.

I tried using a USB stick in my car, but it never saw it. What format are you using for those of you who use USB?

I use FAT32. Takes a minute or two to "recognize". 8GB. 16B took way longer.
I use it for music as well.
