70+
happy belatedJust turned 30 this past Saturday.
It'd be interesting to do a pole to determine how many present owners had a Civic when they were younger.Looks like the Civic isn't the young chaps car anymore. Most people so far are 30 and above
Consider in 1994 when my mom bought a Civic EX it was like $13k so it was more affordable to a younger crowd even for the top model. Even 10 years ago an EX was $16k. Today an EX is $22k or the turbo is $23k. Those kind of payments just arent as affordable as they used to be for Civics.Looks like the Civic isn't the young chaps car anymore. At 16 I had an 84 CRX at 18 I got a 93 Del Sol. so those were in the civic fam. It'd be interesting to do a pole to determine how many present owners had a Civic when they were younger.
My parents bought me a (new) 2000 DX when I graduated high school. I've been driving it since April when I finally bought a 2017 Coupe. The 2K has an ITR swap, EM1 wheels, Apexi Noir exhaust, and all the usual sundry stuff that's commonly done to these cars. The exterior of the 2K is 100% stock. At 16 I had an 84 CRX at 18 I got a 93 Del Sol. so those were in the civic fam.
The other thread "What did you drive before CivicX" most people have put they have multiple Hondas in general, not just civics. It'd be interesting to do a pole to determine how many present owners had a Civic when they were younger.
