2016 civic sedan. My car came with the plastic trunk liner. Which is fine. But when I have 2,3 bags of groceries some items end up outside the bags.

Any ideas or options for keeping these groceries/ bags stable?

Thanks

Thanks! Much appreciated.

Do these organizers hook onto something? Or will that matter with weight?

I think they rely on the non skid surface on the bottom. All the reviews are great, I am just having a hard time justifying 55 bucks!

Don't laugh, but get a few milk crates to use when your going grocery shopping. Just set them in the trunk, put the bags in them, then carry them in the house. Easy, cheap, removable.

Actually I think you might be right re milk crates. I have used a box before when shopping at no frills and seemed fine. So maybe less hassle etc just to use a clean box or milk crates as you suggest. I usually only have 2-4 bags of groceries. Hmm. Crates would be better due to having a place to carry them easier than a box.

I got a Coleman milk crate in the trunk of my car. It holds my air compressor, tire repair kit, Rain-X, some tools, and a few other things. Works great. A few crates would do great, and like you said, they got handles built in.

Milk crates are a bit unsightly in my opinion; Ikea also sells excellent plastic bins of various sizes.

I don't have a trunk liner, so I put some velcro tape on the bottom of one of the bins, and they stick quite well to the felt trunk liner.

Another option for those who don't like the milk crates!

But they're in the trunk. :dunno:

The trunk.

Each to his own I guess.
Haha unless you shield your eyes every time you open the trunk, I don't want to see a big yellow box.

Think of it like lingerie, but only the opposite -- all hideous and unsexy. 98% of the time it's hidden from view so you don't care, but everytime you see it you cringe.

I bought that same one too, and I love it. I must have bought it on sale, because I don't recall paying that much. The rubberized bottom is what keeps it in place. What's nice is it's easy to resize the compartments or fold down the dividers, and the whole thing folds down flat in seconds.
